In June 2021, the second annual Soles of Medfield 10K went live and in person with a race up, around, and through the streets of Medfield.
What a great day! Thru the efforts of many, leading up to and on the actual day, we were able to host 80+ runners for our first in-person 10K race. The weather was bright and warm, the runners full of anticipation. The course lived up to expectations, offering challenges as well as a chance to see some of the best of the '052.
Again, all proceeds raised money for the Medfield Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund to help increase increase access to summer camps and programming for children in the Medfield community.
Thanks to all who participated, to those who helped in the planning and those who on the day stood, watered, waved, decorated, registered, dressed up as a banana, and overall ensured our runners had a great day.
2021 race
In June 2020, the inaugural Soles of Medfield 10K went virtual to respect social distancing protocols during the pandemic. It was still a great success.
The club raised $1,400 dollars for the Medfield Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund to help increase increase access to summer camps and programming for children in the Medfield community.
All registrants received a t-shirt, as well as bragging rights for completing a 10K and participating in our inaugural event. Some even completed the 10k running up and down Indian Hill!
