RACE REVIEWS

50K Races
Two members, Matt A and MaryJane E, both recently completed 50K (31 miles) at local trail races. Yup, more than a marathon and over terrain that can be rugged, rocky and unpredictable. Interested?
My First Half Marathon
Having only just gotten into running this year, Jenny M decided to take a crack at her first half, and picked a cracker. he 'Around Cape Ann' half is a pretty course. But undulates wildly. She toe'd the start line and went out and crushed her race.
Couch to 5K
We've supported folks in their goal of getting to their first (ever or in a long while) 5K in the past. Watch this space for future attempts

Road Signs
The Soles are funding these in an early effort to raise road safety awareness for all users. Just in the last week, I've heard of or seen additional serious traffic incidents around Medfield. If interested in a sign in front of your house, please reach out to Julie O for details on how to acquire one.
Plogging!
Interested in hosting a plogging event in the spring? Chat with us via Heylo as we discuss dates and different areas of town.
Not plogged with us before? Here’s an intro.

Runner Safety
Two members, Paulus L and Meghan S, worked with vendors to get access to a couple of useful opportunities.
We have a donation of 100 safety lights that can be attached to clothing (around 50 or so remain). Come to a Soles run to get one.
And Meghan S worked with the fine folks at Road ID to get a 20% discount on their products. Discount code at this link (valid thru next year)
