More miles, more beer, more bacon

The Soles of Medfield is a group of runners of all distances and all paces. We get together to schedule group runs, commiserate on injuries, find events and sometimes have a beer. Any level of runner is welcome to join us!

50K Races

Two members, Matt A and MaryJane E, both recently completed 50K (31 miles) at local trail races. Yup, more than a marathon and over terrain that can be rugged, rocky and unpredictable.  Interested?

My First Half Marathon

Having only just gotten into running this year, Jenny M decided to take a crack at her first half, and picked a cracker.  he 'Around Cape Ann' half is a pretty course. But undulates wildly. She toe'd the start line and went out and crushed her race.

Couch to 5K

We're still working with a group of folks who are looking to get into or back into running. They are our C25K heros and many of them will be running the annual MFI Angel Run in December.  How does the program work?

"Run often. Run long. But never outrun your joy of running."

September 14th.

We are looking for a few hearty Soles to volunteer for an hour (or more if you are so inclined) at a Soles booth during Medfield Day.

Spread the word about sweat, tears, bacon, and beers. And running!

Zelus, Charles River, Soles of Medfield & Hoka One Promotion/Group Run.

Come run (7pm start from Zelus) 2, 3 or 5 miles, try on some new Hokas, share some laughs with the Soles and runners from CRR's "Thursday Strong" group.  Should be a fun evening.

The first couple were such an eye opening success (so much Sutter Home!), we did it again!

We all run these streets everyday and we hate to see litter and garbage on our routes. Let's pick up some trash, get in some bonus miles and pretty up the town.

Who said running is a selfish sport?!

Details on the next lucky street coming soon!
